Starting A New Partnership

Who would have thught that events of the last couple of days would lead to a new partnership and all that that entails?  Since this is an internet business we are doing as much of this over the internet as we possibly can.  Of course it started with the email proposing the partnership, then there were the emails explaining what was being proposed in more detail, then there was the discussion about who does what, and then the discussion about what is available to work with versus what must be purchased.

Of course the later in the day it got, the more stressful the situation became because I was being asked questions I hadn’t thought of before and had to scramble to find out the answers.

We finally got the papers signed but there is still quite a bit of work to be done both on the content and on the web hosting part of things.  All in all, by the time things are all done, we should have a pretty good business set up and something I can reproduce at will like a cookie cutter.

Then comes the exciting part - marketing the project and generating revenue.  So, it looks like there will be a roller coaster going on in my life for the near future as I figure out how to do what needs to be done and how to do things I’ve never dreamed of before but I have a good mentor and know we can work through this.  Even though there is some stress involved, it is a good kind of stress, the kind that motivates one to move forward and achieve all their dreams.

So, some stress moves us forward and some can hold us back but excitement of doing something new certainly is propelling me forward at this time.  Stay tuned as I’ll be writing about some of my stressful trials in the coming days, I’m sure.  I just need to maintain focus and move toward the goal.
